Deadline for Filing for Candidacy
The deadline to file an application for a place on the May 1, 2021 General Election Ballot is Friday, February 12, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. The first day that such application may be filed is Wednesday, January 13, 2021. The last day to file a Declaration of Write-In Candidacy is Tuesday, February 16, 2021.
Fecha Límite para Presentar la Candidatura
El último día para presentar la solicitud de un lugar en la boleta de votación de la Elección General del 1 de mayo de 2021 es el viernes 12 de febrero de 2021 a las 5:00 p.m. El primer día en que se puede presentar dicha solicitud es el miércoles 13 de enero de 2021. El último día para presentar una Declaración de candidatura por escrito es el martes 16 de febrero de 2021.

Thời gian nộp đơn xin ghi tên tranh cử trên Lá Phiếu Bầu Cuộc Tổng Tuyển Cử ngày 1 tháng Năm, 2021 là từ thứ Tư, ngày 13 tháng Một, 2021 đến 5 giờ chiều thứ Sáu, 12 tháng Hai, 2021. Ngày hạn chót nộp đơn Tuyên Bố Tranh Cử theo diện Ứng Cử Viên Ghi Thêm là thứ Ba, ngày 16 tháng Hai, 2021.

Qualifications for Office
To be eligible to be a candidate for the position of Director, a person must:
- Be at least 18 years old;
- Be a resident citizen of the State of Texas; and
- Either own land subject to taxation in the District or be a qualified voter within the District.
Requisitos Para Postularse Para un Cargo
Para ser elegible para ser candidato al cargo de Director, es obligatorio:
- Tener, como mínimo, 18 años;
- Ser ciudadano residente del Estado de Texas, y
- Ser propietario de un terreno sujeto a impuestos en el Distrito o ser un votante habilitado dentro del Distrito.
